Anesthetics Could Add to Global Warming
Newswire,
1 July 2010Inhaled anesthetics widely used for surgery—particularly the anesthetic desflurane—make a measurable contribution to global warming, according to a study in the July issue of Anesthesia & Analgesia, official journal of the International Anesthesia Research Society (IARS).

"No anesthetic for you sir, we need to save the polar bears from drowning!"
Of course anaesthetics would increase global warming: you have to be asleep to believe in it!
From 2001 through 2009 the atmospheric CO2 increased by 18% of the total increase from 1800 to 2001 while the average global temperature has not increased significantly. The research, with latest findings reported at http://climaterealists.com/index.php?tid=145&linkbox=true presents a rational equation that accurately calculates the average global temperatures since 1895 with a coefficient of determination of 0.87. That means that it explains 87% of the measured temperatures. The best that GCMs have done is less than 80%. The equation projects that the trend of average global temperatures will decline. The above link and sub links including links to the temperature data reported by the five reporting agencies, track the data back to the published credible sources. It will be interesting to observe what happens as the CO2 continues to increase and the average global temperature does not.
